File Upload Size Limits

When you're setting up a file upload form, the last thing you want is for it to be unable to handle the necessary file size. That's why EZ File Drop offers robust upload sizes to ensure you receive the files you need without any complications.

What is the Upload Limit for EZ File Drop?

The file size limit you have access to will depend on which EZ File Drop plan you signed up for. Our Starter plan has a per file upload limit of 5GB with a total monthly upload usage of 5GB. Our Business plan has an upload file size limit of 25GB with a monthly upload usage of 100GB. Like our Business plan, our Premium plan also has a per file size limit of 25GB but comes with a hefty 1TB (1,000GB) monthly upload limit.

However, if you'd like to have a lower file size limit available to your users for a specific Upload Form, we give you that option too! You can customize your file size limit however you want for each form.

Which of these plans is right for you and your team is entirely your decision. Only you know how much of an upload limit you need for your site. Not to worry if you miscalculate, though, because EZ File Drop makes it easy to switch plans. If at any point you need to upgrade to a higher limit, all of your data and Upload Forms will carry over! No need to worry about losing any assets or starting over on creating your forms, they'll all still be there.

If you go over your monthly EZ File Drop usage limit, everything will keep working and you will simply be billed $20 per additional block of 100GB used for that month.

It’s important to understand that EZ File Drop is NOT a cloud storage provider, EZ File Drop is simply a transfer service. Files uploaded through an EZ File Drop upload form are not stored with EZ File Drop, rather they are sent and saved directly in your connected cloud storage account such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, or a custom FTP/SFTP location.

EZ File Drop measures your usage as bandwidth per month, or rather, the amount of data, measured in GB (gigabytes) your users upload per month.

As an example, free Google accounts only include 15GB of Google Drive Storage. EZ File Drop will stop working after your connected cloud storage account is full. It’s critical that you are aware of any storage limits in your connected cloud storage account.
